Write about your plans for the rest of the summer

After the ALP program is over, I will move to new Apartment on the Orangethrope street and N State College. The name of my new apartment is Arbor Park Home. It is not far from CSUF, but it is not a walking distance. I have to move to new apartment without a car, so it is going to be a hard days for me. After I settle down in my new apartment, I will go take the driver license test. Then I will buy a car, and I will driving around all day long to get used with the way. After I get my car, I have to drive to LA to find a new apartment in LA, because I will study Master Degree at CSU, LA on the next fall. I hope everything will be going as I plan.

Write about your experience at the Angels game

Watching baseball at Angels Stadium was the new and exciting experience for me. I had never watched baseball game in the stadium before, so last Sunday game was the first time for me. I felt that the Angels stadium was huge. Before I had gotten into the stadium, I didn't realize that there were a lot of people in the stadium. Since it was not playoff or important match, but there was still a lot of people watching the game. That make me realize that American like baseball a lot. I can't imagine how much people will be in the playoff game. The game was between Detroit Tiger and Los Angeles Angel. Since the first inning, Angel did well in the game, and scored a lot of points. Angel scored points in each inning, but Tiger didn't. The gap of the point became bigger which made the game less fun for me. We knew that Angel will win the game, so Brandon, Yoko, and I walked around to take some pictures. We tried to take the pictures near the players, but stadium stuff kept us away. We had a lot of fun taking pictures and talking about American baseball.

We are going to watch a movie on Thursday. After we watch the movie, write a summary describing the main idea and some of the important details.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is the story about an American man, Ian Miller, who falls in love with a Greek-American woman, Toula, who comes from a very conservative and cultural Greek family. The concept of a Greek family is to let their daughter married with another Greek man, but Toula is going to break the tradition by falling in love and marrying with non-Greek man. Toula and Ian have to prove that race is not important as love. Ian fights to gain the acceptance from Toula's family by becoming the Greek Orthodox. After a while, Toula's father see that they love each other and allow them to get marry. When they have a daughter, Toula promise to her daughter that she can marry a man from any races.

Write a paragraph explaining how these three kinds of love are different

There are three main kind of love which are agape, phileo, eros. Agape is one of Greek words that mean love. Agape mostly describe one's love towards a meal, towards a favorite activity, or towards spouse or family. Phileo is little more casual friendly or brotherly type of love. Philia means friendship in modern Greek, a dispassionate virtuous love. Eros on the other hand is passionate love, with sensual desire. The Modern Greek word "erotas" means "romantic love". Eros may also refer to love in sexual way.

Hawaii is a wonderful place for many reasons. First of all, Hawaii is the birthplace of surfing. If you are looking for waves to surf, Hawaii beaches is the place for you. In addition, Hawaii has a unique geological formation. It combines tropical climate, beautiful beaches, nice mountain, and amazing volcano together. You can enjoy surfing at the beach in the morning and hiking at the mountain in the evening. Finally, sightseeing in Hawaii is also an interesting feature. There are six main island for you to choose. You will never get boring when you are in Hawaii. Hawaii has a lot of unique feature, It is one the best island for you to visit.

I look up to my father. There are several reason which make me look up to him. First of all, as the logistic manager, he works very hard. He never stops working since he graduated from Master of Industrial Engineer. In addition, my father is the best planner I ever know, for example, he planed a good family trip to Singapore and Malasia. He also planed to send me to study in America since I was young. Finally, he is the smartest problem solver. It seems that he can fix every things such as fixing water and electrical system in our house. I feel lucky that I have him as my father. I am very proud of him, and I hope that I can be like him.

There are several reasons that global warming causes a serious threat to our environment. These reasons include extreme weather, sea level rise, changing of geographical structure of the Earth. First,
global warming causes average temperature of the world to change, or we sometime call extreme weather. The weather around the world change from the same pattern, such as summer is longer and hotter, and winter is shorter and colder. Second, The rise of sea level which cause ice melting at the north pole and south pole due to the higher of temperature. The ice melt down also affect the sea temperature which kill some marine life. Finally, the global warming heat up the earth core which affect surface of the Earth to change. This event sometime causes earthquakes and massive waves like Tsunami. All of us should pay more attention to this crisis and help to prevent it.

I have been celebrated the Fourth of July in the Yorba Linda park. A lot of people came to the park during the evening to see the concert and firework. I was surprised that the firework was really big and took very long. Before the firework began, all of people in the park stand up and sang the nation anthem. I felt that when they sang the song, they really sang from their heart. I think that to be independent for all American is very important. I think I understand why I always heard a lot of American say, 'This is a free country'.

Cool! I write this post on July 7, 2007 which answering something about July 7, 2007. Personally, I don't think that July 7, 2007 is a special day. As I recall, last year on June 6, 2006 (6-6-06), nothing special happened to me and to other people I know. I am a Christian, so I have a little bit of belief in 666 as it mention in the Bible. June 6, 2006 may be the 666 day that Bible mention, but still the world is not break apart. So it makes me not to belief in coincident in number. I think July 7 is another weekend that I can wake up late and doing Mr. Simpson homework. May be I will find $100 dollars bill that someone had dropped. Sorry Mr. Simpson, It is not that exaggerate, but I already try.

Journal Entry # 4

Last Friday, I went to Knott’s Berry. I had experiencing a lot of new rides that I never tried, but one of the rides caused me a problem, The Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider was very rough and bumpy. I found out that my neck was hurt after I went to the Ghost Rider ride. So, I had to go to first aid there. Going to the first aid was the new experience for me. Since, I moved to California, I had never got sick or injury. When the physician asked me how I felt, I didn’t know how to express different feeling in English. I told her that my neck was hurt after the Ghost Rider ride. She asked me to turn my head to the left and right, but it was too hurt to turn my head toward the right-hand direction. Then she asked me to put the pack of ice on my neck and let me toke 2 medicines of pain relief. After that I had to take dinner, I found out that eating while my neck hurt was very difficult.

My favorite blockbuster movie is The Matrix. Because, I think The Matrix brought new standard to movie industry. The plots is very good, same as the actors. The computer graphic is incredible. I heard that some actors need to really learn how to fight for this movie. I still hope that there will be Matrix 4.

I enjoy watching thriller, sci-fi, and drama.

Knott's Berry Farm

How was your experience at Knott's Berry Farm? Please explain what you enjoyed and what you disliked.

I had a great time at Knott's Berry Farm on last Friday, but I also had a bad time on this trip. I enjoyed most of the rides, such as Xcelerator, Supreme Scream, Boomerang and etc. Everything was going fine until my last ride, The Ghost Rider. After my ride was over, I just realized that my neck hurt. The Ghost Rider was very rough and bumpy. So, I had to go to first aid there. On the weekend, I felt hurt everytime I was turning my head toward the left-hand side. I had a bad weekend because of the Ghost Rider.

What I will write on my tomb stone, If I die.
